Bangalore’s best Cricket Coaching Academy,Karnataka Institute Of Cricket, popularly known as KIOC was inaugurated by Mohammed Azharuddin in 1996. KIOC is the only cricket coaching centre that operates throughout the year. For the benefit of trainees, KIOC operates three sessions a day. As a matter of fact, there is activity all through the day as many senior state cricketers utilize the facility for specific training. One-to-One coaching is conducted during the period between the morning and evening sessions. The six bowling machines available at the Institute are a great boon to the trainees -- beginners as well as professional cricketers can make good use of these Bowling machines as they can simulate any kind of delivery - be it fast or spin. With the Video analysis facility and the Gray-Nicolls software available at KIOC it is a dream come true for any aspiring cricketer.

KIOC has now introduced a special session under lights between 6.30PM and 8.30PM.
A dedicated team of coaches is only an icing on the cake. K I O C has had the privilege of coaching overseas cricketers. We have players from England, Scotland, U S A, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and the Middle East who have been successfully coached at our centre.

KIOC conducts international cricket tours to Australia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Singapore. Our tours to England and Australia are in great demand for the quality of cricket experienced and the efficient organisation the travelling cricketers enjoy. Our recent tours to England & Australia were highly successful. KIOC had contracted former Australia captain Graham Yallop and Damien Flemming who are very successful and a level III qualified coaches.
The boys had a brilliant experience with Graham Yallop in Melbourne and another former Australia captain Brian Booth in Sydney. In England the boys enjoyed the superb coaching services of the renowned batting coach Gary Palmer.

K I O C organizes the All India Tata Coffee Inter camp cricket tournament every year from the 21st of May to the 31st of May. This is a much in demand event with teams from all over the country participating in this festival of cricket. The tournament is held in six different age groups from under 10 to the seniors.
Though the camp operates throughout the year, the major activity is during the summer months. KIOC is among the top coaching centres and caters to over 400 boys and girls with more than 25 coaches offering dedicated coaching services..
K I O C also handles School cricket coaching. Presently, KIOC coaches Cambridge Public School, Mount Carmel College,Oasis International School, New Baldwins Residential School, Bangalore Military School, National Junior School and Bangalore International school in Bangalore and Lawrance School and Laidlaw Memorial School in Ooty.

About the Director
– Irfan Sait |
|
Irfan Sait is probably the only qualified
full time coach available 24 x 7 x 365 days who has the unique distinction of completing the Level I, II and III coaching courses each from a different countries.
- Level III - England ( ECB )
- Level II - Australia ( CA )
- Level I - India (KSCA)
He is also a member of the Coach Association England, a rare feat achieved only by a few in the subcontinent. Irfan is deeply involved in the game for the past quarter century. He has played in all the divisions of the K S C A League.( Sixth to the first division )
Irfan assisted the Indian men’s cricket team in the training camp held at Bangalore in preparation of the World Cup ‘96. He also coaches at Macclesfield, Cheshire County , Manchester , England.
Irfan is a member of Tournament Committee, Technical Committee, Fixtures Committee and Women’s cricket committee of the Karnataka State Cricket Association.
Irfan Sait is the Joint Secretary of Swastic Union Cricket Club and Secretary- Jawans Cricket Club. Irfan was instrumental in the Swastic Union C C’s (2) rise from sixth division to the I division. Jawans C C and Modern C C were also in the lowest division and are now in the Senior Division along with Swastic Union (1). He was the Karnataka State women’s coach for nine long years during which period the Karnataka women’s teams performed exceedingly well. He also coached the Senior and junior South zone women’s teams.
Recently Mr Irfan was drafted as a Member of the Coach Association in Australia - another distinction in his long list of achievements.
